Summary
Join Perforce's Partner Sales team as a Senior Sales Engineer, supporting the Platform Automation business and focusing on the Delphix and Puppet brands. You will act as a technical leader, providing architectural guidance and fostering relationships with partners. Responsibilities include ensuring customer and partner success, leading architectural discussions, educating partners on Perforce products, and executing a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives. The role requires 5+ years in a DBA, TDM, or DevOps role and 3+ years in partner enablement. Preferred qualifications include experience with Delphix or Puppet products, bilingualism in English and Spanish, and experience with SAP HANA or Oracle Exadata. Requirements
- 5+ years in an operational capacity in a DBA, a TDM, or DevOps role
- 3+ years working with partner enablement
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively collaborate in cross-team engagements
- Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to roll-up your sleeves
- Ability to travel to partner sites when required by project scope (20-35% travel)
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic technical leader in the field to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote & accelerate partner engagements worldwide
- Ensure customer & partner success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services on the Delphix Platform
- Monitor, Document and Communicate Partner Enablement Progress to the Partners and to the Perforce Partner Ecosystem Managers
- Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on the Perforce Delphix and Puppet product lines while ensuring solutions are designed for successful customer adoption
- Be a Perforce evangelist; educate partners of all sizes on the value proposition of the portfolio of products offered by Perforce
- In partnership with the sales & partner team, formulate, and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of Perforce & its partner solutions
- Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within partners to enable them to be Perforce advocates
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Perforce community
- Provide product demonstrations to partners and prospective partners
- Relay partner needs and requirements back to internal Perforce teams including Certifications and Training, Customer Success, and Channel Manager teams
- Develop reusable technical assets to scale partner enablement
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years working with Delphix or Puppet products
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with SAP HANA, Oracle Exadata
- Desire to work in fast-paced, challenging environment
