Requirements

  • 5-7 years of successful sales experience in IT and cybersecurity consulting, managed services, and product sales, with a demonstrated focus on healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
  • Deep understanding of healthcare and pharma-specific IT challenges, including HIPAA compliance, patient data security, Cloud Security, IAM, MDR, and GRC solutions
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas in a B2B sales environment, particularly within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors
  • Strong ability to engage clients in a consultative approach, delivering tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions to address healthcare and pharma-specific needs
  • Expertise in articulating the value of RKONโ€™s offerings to both technical and non-technical audiences within the healthcare and pharmaceutical context
  • Proven skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare and pharma stakeholders, including IT and compliance leaders
  • Experience collaborating with technology vendors and internal teams to design and implement integrated client solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 25% is required

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business by selling RKONโ€™s managed IT and cybersecurity services to healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations
  • Build and sustain relationships with decision-makers in healthcare and pharma, including CIOs, CISOs, and compliance officers, ensuring long-term partnerships
  • Leverage RKONโ€™s portfolio to create tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions that address challenges like HIPAA compliance, patient data protection, and clinical data security
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline targeting healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified leads and successful deal closures
  • Partner with leading technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Rapid7, Checkpoint) to deliver integrated solutions addressing the cybersecurity and IT needs of healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue and foster deeper client relationships
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on a $300k OTE, and contribute to the overall growth of the company

Benefits
