Summary
Join Belong Health as the Manager, Strategic Partnerships and support the business development efforts of the Growth team. This role involves identifying and qualifying potential partnerships with payers and providers, managing the sales cycle, creating presentations, and collaborating with internal teams. You will conduct research, prioritize leads, negotiate partnership terms, and represent Belong Health at industry events. The position requires experience in solution-based selling or consulting within payer or provider organizations, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree or sales/business development certifications are preferred. This remote role may require up to 50% travel. The salary range is $100,000-$140,000 annually.
Requirements
- Experience in solution-based selling or consulting within payer or provider organizations
- Strong research, analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across various functional areas
- Bachelor's degree required
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and prospecting to identify potential partnership opportunities with payer and provider organizations, focusing on local and regional health plans and health systems
- Qualify and prioritize potential leads based on fit with Belong Health's solutions and target market criteria
- Support the Director, Strategic Partnerships in managing the sales cycle, including outreach, stakeholder alignment, partnership terms negotiation, and agreement finalization
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Belong Health's solutions, including the technology and services offered, to effectively communicate value propositions to potential partners
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Analytics and Product, to gather relevant data and insights to support business development efforts
- Represent Belong Health at relevant industry conferences and events, and participate in professional organizations to generate interest and build relationships
- Assist in the creation of sales collateral, presentations, and other marketing materials to support the Strategic Partnerships team
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, account management, business development, strategy, or partnership roles, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, particularly related to value-based care, Medicare Advantage and Dual Special Needs Plans, CMS/CMMI programs, Accountable Care Organizations
- Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Training or certification in sales, business development, or healthcare-related disciplines
