Remote Senior Salesforce Developer

Join our team at ExtraHop and help us shape the future of cybersecurity as a Senior Salesforce Developer. You will be a core member of the small but mighty Applications team, collaborating with stakeholders to solve complex business problems using well-architected, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (HTML/CSS/Javascript), Salesforce APIs,  SOAP or REST-based web services
• Deep understanding of both the administrator and developer areas of the Force.com platform, including knowledge of when and why to use declarative vs. developed solutions
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Experience writing web applications, including HTML/CSS/Javascript/AngularJS
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Ability to learn new systems and languages quickly and thoroughly
• Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Develop software with Apex, Lightning Components, Javascript, and other Salesforce, HTTP and cloud technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders to define and implement process improvement
• Conduct system and software testing, and code review to ensure high code quality, maintainability and design
• Manage integrations with existing systems and develop new ones
• Document code, applications, and security setup
• Stay abreast of changes and new features in Salesforce by reviewing release notes, participating in developer forums and/or user groups
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Deliver solutions that meet business needs and generate user happiness
• Research and recommend appropriate application development best practices and tools
• Implement solutions with the most appropriate tools using declarative solutions and/or code in new features
