Senior Salesforce Developer

Summary

This critical team member will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements and innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including Apex, SOQL, SOSL and Lightning Web Components
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications are required
• Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (flows etc.) is required
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and components
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining custom Salesforce applications
• Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools and web services
• Solid understanding of Salesforce security models (profiles, permission sets, roles)

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Lead the technical design, development and implementation of customized Salesforce solutions including custom objects, triggers, Apex code, Lightning Web components, and Salesforce APIs
• Systems integration: Work on integrating Salesforce with external systems (APIs, web services) and ensure smooth data flow between systems
• Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate those into scalable technical solutions
• Optimization: Identify and recommend optimizations to improve platform performance and user experience
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of the Salesforce solutions through code reviews, unit testing and following best development practices
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to ensure the stability and performance of the Salesforce environment
• Project Management (Planning & Execution): Effectively plan, execute, and manage Salesforce development projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and proactively addressing risks or blockers during execution
• Communication: Proactively communicate progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce DX
• Knowledge of Business Systems processes and supporting operational teams within Salesforce
• Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud
