Join Celonis, a global leader in Process Mining technology, as a Senior Salesforce Engineer. Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. Manage the entire application lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and maintenance, ensuring code quality through reviews and testing. Stay current on Salesforce features and technologies, especially AI and automation, contributing to AI-driven enhancements by integrating Python-based services and LLMs. This role requires 10+ years of Salesforce development experience with expertise in LWC and Apex, a proven track record of leading teams, and deep understanding of Salesforce architecture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development with extensive hands-on expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex
  • Proven track record of leading development teams while also delivering as an IC
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and performance tuning
  • Experience across the full application lifecycle : design, development, deployment, and post-deployment support
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, middleware, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or integrating with external systems
  • Basic understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models) and AI/ML concepts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Salesforce developers
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Own and manage the end-to-end application lifecycle β€” from architecture and development to deployment and maintenance
  • Implement best practices around Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and automation
  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
  • Stay up to date on emerging Salesforce features and technologies, especially around AI and automation
  • Contribute to AI-driven enhancements by integrating Python-based services and LLMs where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset for DevOps
  • Exposure to Einstein AI or other AI features within Salesforce
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into business workflows
