Senior Security Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 2 years in the healthcare industry
• Proven experience with healthcare software applications and systems
• Active relevant certification such as CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or Security+
• Demonstrated experience in SOC 2 or HITRUST audits
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality

Responsibilities

• Support audit and compliance efforts related to SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and other relevant regulations
• Manage and optimize Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes to ensure secure access to systems and data
• Administer, tune, and enhance security tools such as SIEM, XDR, IDS, CASB, IdP, etc
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to enhance security operations efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate and participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation
• Conduct continuous monitoring and risk assessments to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential security threats
• Respond to client and partner security questionnaires, and conduct gap analysis and remediation efforts as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security best practices across the organization
