Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join Algolia's Connectors Platform Team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and partner with software engineers to enhance and streamline infrastructure and engineering workflows. You will directly impact customer data integration, ensuring speed, reliability, and security. The team focuses on data ingestion and transformation pipelines, various integrations (Shopify, Commercetools, BigCommerce), AI enrichment, and data connectors. You will improve platform reliability, scalability, and security, support monitoring and incident response, collaborate on development and deployment processes, and maintain high availability and security standards. Proactive identification and resolution of system bottlenecks and vulnerabilities are key. Requirements

• Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform and distributed systems in production
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, and DataDog
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Solid understanding of network configuration and GCP security best practices
• Experience with incident response and on-call responsibilities
• Experience with Go programming language

Responsibilities

• Improve the reliability, scalability, and security of Connector Platform infrastructure
• Support our monitoring, incident response, and continuous deployment initiatives
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to refine and optimize development and deployment processes
• Ensure our platforms maintain high availability, security standards, and performance
• Proactively identify and resolve potential system bottlenecks and vulnerabilities
