Join Flexe's infrastructure team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and contribute to evolving the technology at the heart of our business. You will architect and implement impactful systems, work directly with customers and partners on large-scale projects, and facilitate personal and team growth. This position requires 5+ years of experience in software development, site reliability, or DevOps, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent, and expertise in various technologies. Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial Software Development / Site Reliability / DevOps experience
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with software engineering in both scripted and compiled languages
- Proven track record empowering other engineers and maintaining infrastructure as code
- Experience with at least one Cloud Platform provider including, but not limited to: Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with monitoring, log management, and CI/CD tools for distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with or a desire to learn technologies such as Kubernetes, Istio, and Terraform while delivering risk and cost balanced solutions
- Understanding the full software stack from user-facing components to specific hardware aspects (e.g. networking, memory-management, performance analysis)
- Deep-diving through codebases (internal and open source) to support root cause analysis and identification of software defects
- Working with engineering teams and advocating for better reliability and scale
- Solving unexpected problems. Unafraid of fixing code bugs, contributing fixes upstream, and building new scripts/tooling to enhance functionality
