Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

Join Vantage, a rapidly growing FinOps platform, as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). You will collaborate closely with product and data engineers to ensure the reliability and scalability of our platform. Responsibilities include guiding technical architecture decisions, managing production infrastructure, writing high-quality code, and partnering with feature teams. This role requires extensive experience in building and operating SaaS products, expertise in Kubernetes and cloud networking, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code. Requirements

• A SRE with a passion for partnering with product teams to build features that delight customers
• Strong technical background, including 8+ years of experience building and operating SaaS products/platforms
• Expertise in building and operating services at scale in Kubernetes
• Expertise in cloud-hosted Network design and operations (e.g. VPC, Peering, subnet definitions, NAT configuration etc)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi etc
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools, particularly Datadog
• Someone who enjoys staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in the SRE and DevX ecosystem to pull them into projects when appropriate
• Someone excited to make progress and hold a high degree of responsibility
• A kind person

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our founders and engineers; collaborate on feature discovery, ideation and delivery
• Guide technical architecture decisions to enable Vantage’s rapid growth
• Be the responsible party for our production infrastructure - ensuring it is designed and operated to meet the needs of our customers and is cost efficient
• Write clean, testable, peer-reviewed code
