Join Qoria, a global leader in child digital safety technology, as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. You will be part of the Global SRE team, responsible for the reliability and observability of software running worldwide. Employing a DevOps mindset, you will assist teams in adopting best practices, manage Infrastructure as Code, and act as a first responder during critical incidents. The role involves collaborating with teams to identify and resolve pain points, enhancing product reliability. Requirements
- Operate cloud platforms and services at scale (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Manage Kubernetes and associated tooling in production
- Demonstrate knowledge of good monitoring and alerting practices, and experience handling on-call rotations and pages for production systems
- Utilize observability tooling, including tracing and profiling
- Show proficiency with Terraform and managing Infrastructure as Code
- Exhibit proficiency with at least one programming language and a history of automating low-value tasks
- Possess a strong understanding of database concepts (relational and NoSQL) and scaling them to meet demand
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of security concepts and securing cloud infrastructure
- Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tooling in an enterprise environment, ideally using GitOps
- Display great communication skills (written and verbal) to document patterns and champion practices among teams
- Show a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and a passion for learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Manage load balancers, firewalls, and networking administration and infrastructure management
- Deliver software end-to-end and manage it in production
- Show familiarity with microservice architectures and debugging distributed systems
- Demonstrate a passion for improving the day-to-day experience of developers and the platforms they use
- Possess excellent asynchronous working skills to support a global team
