Senior Software Developer in India

Summary

Loopio is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their team. This remote position requires 6.5 hours of work from 11 am - 7:30 pm IST. The role involves leading feature development, interacting with customers, mentoring engineers, and working in an agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience in backend/API background of either PHP, Python or Java
• Experience in frontend development, with a solid understanding of React and Javascript
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL
• Proficient in using and designing RESTful APIs
• Mentorship to other engineers through coaching, design, code reviews

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end feature development for Loopio’s web platform
• Proactively build technology to prevent bugs as they come up
• Interact with and gather detailed feedback from customers
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment
• Mentor and coach other engineers, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing and encouraged feedback
• Comfortable leading technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision making

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch and integration with third party apps
