Requirements

  • Experience working with highly agile development teams
  • 5+ years of experience coding in a low-level language (C/C++, Java, Rust, Golang)
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • You have a strong understanding of JavaScript (client and server)
  • Experience designing and building highly scalable APIs and micro-services
  • You have a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies such as React
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Understanding of standard web technologies (HTTP, JSON, Network topology, etc.)
  • Experience with DevOps and understand what deployment means using systems like docker, AWS and/or Kubernetes

Responsibilities

  • Write great code and create unit and integration tests that prove it
  • Participate in planning, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of client and server-side platforms and tools that engineering teams across the company depend on
  • Perform code reviews and participate in suggesting and supporting coding best practices
