Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Data Pipeline Engineer at Bloomreach, a commerce experience cloud company. Requirements

• Experience with Python and a solid grasp of engineering practices

Responsibilities

• Develop a data pipeline processing large amounts of data reliably and at high rates using Python, Go, MongoDB, GCP, etc
• Help improve the efficiency of workers, improve monitoring, or help with autoscaling of infrastructure
• Improve the throughput and reliability of imports and help implement integration with another data storage
• Export data from the platform to Google’s BigQuery using google’s DataFlows and Apache Beam, allowing data access by clients
• Run and support services in production handling high-volume traffic using Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes
• Review the code of peers and have your code reviewed
• Participate in on-call rotation to keep services up and running
