Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software Engineer at Boclips, a remote company that builds a platform for the global education market. Requirements

• Vast experience building full-stack applications with back-end technologies like Kotlin/Java
• Proactive, can tackle larger problems and features, deal with ambiguity, identify problems and provide solutions
• Thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Open towards Pair Programming and TDD and other Extreme Programming practices
• Open-minded and respectful even when you disagree
• Advocate for writing high-quality code and leaving things in a better state than you found them
• Great communicator in English
• Happy to work within GMT +/- 2 hours with at least 6 hours of overlap with GMT and are based in the UK or Europe

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with front-end technologies like React/Typescript is a plus but not a must!

Benefits

• Salary £75-90k (if based in UK) or localised equivalent in your country of residence. Dependent on experience
• Discretionary annual bonus dependent on revenue performance (last year was 4%)
