Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job description is for a .Net Fullstack Developer responsible for overseeing application development, modification, and maintenance. This position requires strong technical skills in various software technologies and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in .NET technologies, ASP .NET, ADO .NET, and MVC framework
• At least 10 years of experience in software development life cycle
• 10+ years of database design experience from a developer’s perspective on SQL Server
• Experience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JQuery, and Javascript
• Experience with UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Angular 8.0 and above
• Willing to work in application/production support
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environments
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Strong Communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to direct global team members

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and installation of new hardware and software
• Provides advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques required for improved work operations
• Installs and configures systems and other software
• Tests installed software for malfunction detection
• Identifies and resolves business systems issues
• Designs and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systems
• Measures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
• Develops and implements strategies to improve systems
• Monitors and tests system performance
• Oversees the training of junior engineers to improve job skills and work efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Banking domain (preferred, but not required)
