Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a software engineer in CloudQuery's plugins team, responsible for developing and supporting data extraction plugins using their open source high performance ELT framework. The role requires 4+ years of software engineering experience, 1+ year of Go experience, PostgreSQL and SQL expertise, and knowledge of large cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Requirements

• 4 + years of experience in software engineering
• 1+ year of experience in Go
• Experienced with PostgreSQL and SQL
• Good Experience with using/operating one of the large cloud providers AWS/GCP/Azure

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team, CEO, product on both existing and new cloudquery source and destination plugins
• Lead features end-to-end from RFC→Implementation→Testing→Documentation→Release
• Provide support for community and paid users on how to best use the developed plugin and incorporate their feedback into features and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Self-guided, Resourceful, Excellent communicator
• Championing automation to reduce toil and increase development velocity
• English as spoken and written English to be able to write solid documentation for new features you develop
