Remote Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Eigen Labs is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Platform Engineer with 5-7 years of backend software development experience and 2-4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Requirements

• Education. : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience. : 5-7 years of overall backend software development experience. 2-4 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana

Responsibilities

• Design, Build, and Maintain. : Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and robust cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Automation and CI/CD. : Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of applications
• Monitoring and Logging. : Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Datadog and Grafana to ensure high availability and performance
• Development. : Write high-quality, maintainable code in Golang and Python to automate infrastructure tasks and improve system reliability
• Collaboration. : Work closely with software developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective cloud infrastructure solutions
• Security. : Implement security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards
• Troubleshooting. : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, network issues, and other cloud infrastructure-related problems
• Documentation. : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern AWS native services
• Experience with Ethereum and other PoS blockchain protocols
