Summary

The job is a Data Engineering role at Lime, a shared electric vehicle company. Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry professional software development experience and a track record of building impactful products or systems
  • Strong data insight and rely on data to make decisions
  • Skilled at writing logical and maintainable code, and providing clear feedback in code reviews
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements
  • Owner’s mindset. You're a self-starter and get things across the finish line
  • Technical proficiency to understand and contribute to the design and implementation of projects and ideas
  • Excellent communication and effective prioritization skills in working with competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Identify, define, and solve strategically essential technical problems
  • Architect and build highly scalable foundational platforms
  • Lead new product initiatives
  • Revamp existing core application experiences
  • Mentor and lead other engineers at Lime
  • Enforce controls across pipelines to ensure incredibly high accuracy for all financial transactions (hundreds of millions of dollars)
  • Work in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts across Finance, Operations, Strategy, Data Science and Product
  • Assist in preparing data-related documentation for SEC filings and due diligence processes
  • Implement data governance policies and ensure data security and compliance
  • Advise Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements
  • Contribute to shaping the overall engineering culture at the company

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a pre-IPO or public company environment is a plus
