Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Join Lithic, a company building card issuing and payment infrastructure, as a Senior Software Engineer on the Issuing team. You will lead the development of new card lifecycle features, ensuring high reliability and availability of Lithic's API. This role requires experience shipping in a production environment, leading projects, and strong distributed system design skills. Experience with or a willingness to learn Rust is also needed. Responsibilities

• Ensure high reliability and availability for Lithic’s API
• Lead development of new card lifecycle features (card issuance, tokenization, and physical card manufacturing)
• Ensure that the team is delivering reliable, secure, and scalable code with minimal tech debt
• Own initiatives from planning to launch, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned along the way
• Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team
• Participate in the team on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in or desire to learn Rust
• An interest in fintech and the payments space
