Senior Software Engineer in Europe

Summary

The Oasis Protocol Foundation is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build their smart contracts developer platform on the Sapphire blockchain ecosystem. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining the platform, managing project priorities, participating in design and code reviews, and improving engineering standards. They require strong EVM and Ethereum/Blockchain mechanics, a Solidity track record, understanding of DeFi and cross-chain bridging, open source projects, wallets, and several different ERC/EIP standards. Experience with toolkits used by dApp developers is preferred, as well as solidity security auditing and good understanding of privacy & anonymity.

Requirements

• Strong EVM, and Ethereum / Blockchain mechanics
• Strong Solidity track record
• Understanding of DeFi and cross-chain bridging
• Open source projects, Github, Gitlab, verifiable contributions to projects
• Wallets and how dApps interact with wallets
• Can describe several different ERC / EIP standards
• At least basic understanding of the cryptography used in blockchains
• Solidity security auditing
• Good understanding of privacy & anonymity

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain our smart contracts developer platform and the systems of our blockchain ecosystem
• Manage project priorities, fast-paced deadlines and concrete deliverables
• Participate in design and code reviews, including from the Oasis Foundation team and the broader open-source community
• Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with toolkits used by dApp developers, preferably: Typescript, Viem, Wagmi, Ethers, Foundry, Web3.py, npmjs packaging
