Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software Engineer at Prisma, a small startup focused on data infrastructure. Requirements

• 5+ Years experience as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Rust, ideally in a professional environment
• Proficient in one or more major relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MSSQL) with expertise in indexing and tailored schema design for optimized query performance
• You can communicate fluently in English and can express your thoughts clearly in writing

Responsibilities

• Expand and improve the Core of the Prisma Query Engine
• Collaborate with a team of engaged engineers working on developing and improving the Prisma Client
• Use your knowledge of databases and system architecture to create solutions that work for developers at all experience levels
• Create well-tested and documented code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with systems-level programming
• Experience or willingness to work with TypeScript and JavaScript codebases
• Experience writing performant server code for demanding scalability requirements
• Experience building developer tools
