Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The senior software engineer role at Infinite Athlete involves building out the sports API using Golang in AWS. The engineer is expected to ensure high performance, security, and uptime of the APIs, maintain developer resources, and contribute to architectural design discussions. The engineer's work will impact the world of sports by providing a foundation for third parties to build revolutionary products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Extensive experience coding in type-safe systems programming languages such as Golang
• History of building highly available cloud-native architectures using infrastructure as code frameworks such as the AWS CDK
• Excellent technical communication skills in written media, such as design documentation and code reviews

Responsibilities

• Build out FusionFeed’s GraphQL and REST APIs in AWS using Golang
• Ensure that FusionFeed performs well at high traffic volumes, remains secure, and maximizes uptime
• Maintain developer resources such as API reference and SDKs
• Spend the majority of your time on individual code contributions
• Drive architectural design discussions and ensure that the team’s processes and output maintain a high bar for quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Mastery of Golang
• Experience deploying high throughput APIs in AWS
• Functional experience with multiple programming languages
• Experience with API testing and synthetic test infrastructure
• Comfort working with any tool or programming language commonly used by API clients
