Senior Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software Engineer at Venafi, a leading Machine Identity Management company. The role involves developing, managing, and executing on the overall project plan and timelines for key deliverables, with a focus on secure coding practices and collaboration within an industry-leading engineering team.

Requirements

• BS and 6-8 years of relevant experience OR CS and 4-6 years relevant experience OR PhD and 2-4 Years
• Hands-on experience and solid knowledge of the following technologies: C#/.NET, MS SQL Server, Transactions, Working with SQL queries, Windows Services, IIS, Unit Testing and TDD

Responsibilities

• Innovate, design, implement, maintain, and evolve Venafi Products
• Collaborate within an industry-leading engineering team to develop, manage, and execute on the overall project plan and timelines for key deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

• Web Development on .NET
• Hands-on experience with modern UI frameworks, e.g. JavaScript, React, etc
• Profiling Experience: both SQL Server and .NET
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Background with security companies and/or security software related software
