Requirements

• You bring a strong background in building scalable platforms and solving complex software challenges
• You’re fluent in Python, with strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• You’re familiar with AWS and have a good understanding of IaC, CI/CD, SRE principles

• Leading the design and development of next-generation Analytics Platform features, making data insights accessible and scalable for all Canva teams
• Developing APIs and developer tools that transform how Canvanauts interact with, analyse, and visualise data
• Driving continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and SRE practices to streamline deployment and enhance the reliability of analytics tools and infrastructure
• Prototyping and shipping innovative AI-driven features, such as chatbots or intelligent search, to help push Canva to the forefront of data enablement
• Collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, technically challenging projects with excellence
• Championing engineering best practices, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and code quality
