Requirements

  • Possess a BS or advanced degree in computer science
  • Have 8+ years of software development experience working on client-side applications
  • Demonstrate expertise in JavaScript, React, GraphQL, HTML, CSS and various front-end frameworks
  • Show proven experience in client-side software design, implementing reusable components, and ability to work on features independently
  • Have experience using Git in a professional environment
  • Have experience in writing automated tests using testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium
  • Possess some industry experience with CI/CD pipeline, Docker, and a common cloud service provider

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on designing, developing and maintaining SmithRx frontend features with a strong depth of knowledge in JavaScript, React, and GraphQL while leveraging CI/CD to iterate quickly
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to understand functional and technical feasibility of UI/UX designs to produce high-quality, performant, decoupled, and scalable code
  • Continually apply software development best practices, design patterns, tools and technologies and lead operational excellence
  • Troubleshoot production issues by performing triages for issues that arise and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues
  • Coach/mentor junior team members in their assigned engineering projects by performing design and code reviews
  • Work with senior leadership to turn technical vision into a tangible roadmap
  • Be the cornerstone of a collaborative learning culture through knowledge sharing, mentorship, code reviews, and exploration of new frameworks and paradigms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have knowledge of Microfrontend architecture
  • Have experience in Automated UI Testing
  • Have understanding of typical web application, SOA and micro services patterns
  • Have experience at a high-growth startup
