Summary

Cruise Critic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and help build, upgrade, and sustain cruisecritic.com and its supporting tools. The engineer will work on all areas of the diverse stack, collaborate with product, design teams, and other stakeholders, and have responsibility for the quality of code produced.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in Next.js and Typescript
• Management of Graphql/REST services
• Solid knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
• Database management with MYSQL or similar relational databases
• Knowledge in Node.js
• Control of versions with Git
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience on responsive web design, browser compatibility and multiple support to devices
• Follow up on Good Practices in development (unit tests, documentation, etc)
• At least 4 years of experience developing at JavaScript and React
• Self-taught and proactive
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Help build, upgrade, and sustain cruisecritic.com and its supporting tools
• Collaborate with product, design teams, and other business stakeholders to define feature specifications and develop high quality deliverables for customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend Design System experience is a bonus
• App router experience is a bonus
• Tailwinds experience is a bonus
