Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Summary

Swell is hiring a remote crypto engineer for their team. The role involves managing product development, collaborating with team members, developing and maintaining Web3/crypto/DeFi infrastructure, and contributing to technical design. Requirements include a BS degree in Computer Science or related field, 5+ years experience as full stack software engineer, significant experience with Go, React, Typescript, and cloud technologies, and a track record of delivering complex systems. Preferred qualifications include DevOps experience, commercial experience in Web3/crypto/DeFi projects, Smart Contract development experience (Solidity), native restaking and/or liquid staking knowledge, and deep commercial understanding of blockchain and Ethereum/EVM. Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., physics or mathematics)
• 5+ years experience as full stack software engineer
• Significant experience with Go, React, Typescript
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Track record of successfully delivering complex systems

Responsibilities

• Manage the development, deployment and release of product features, including but not limited to the front-end and back-end
• Work collaboratively with team members and partners across workstreams
• Lead with intellectual curiosity with a high standard of excellence
• Develop and maintain Web3 / crypto / DeFi infrastructure
• Contribute to technical and architecture design of the protocol
• Ensure best practice across development, testing, and security

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps experience
• 2+ years commercial experience in Web3 / crypto / DeFi projects
• Experience developing and maintaining Web3 / crypto / DeFi infrastructure
• Smart Contract development experience (Solidity)
• Native restaking and/or liquid staking knowledge
• Deep commercial understanding of blockchain and Ethereum/EVM
