Requirements

• You have experience building and interacting with ETL pipelines
• You have experience working with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• You’ve managed instance reserves or committed use discounts in the past

Responsibilities

• Write sophisticated automation software to continuously optimize our resource purchasing in AWS
• Use Kafka and Spark to build a data pipeline for identifying and sampling costly activities in our infrastructure, and map these back to customers and features
• Work with tools like Redash and Athena to help HubSpotters understand high-level usage and costs of our compute, storage, and networking infrastructure
• Build tools and automation to help fellow engineering teams understand the cost of their computing footprint at HubSpot
