Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of delivering successful products, ideally in healthcare
  • Deep understanding of modern healthcare SaaS platforms and their architecture
  • Ability to tackle cross-team challenges related to customer experience, quality, and security, using your mastery of engineering skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and purpose-driven environment
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity with a bias toward autonomy and decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-impact 0-1 product initiative, acting as a technical leader and contributing across various facets of engineering
  • Work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketers to rapidly innovate, ensuring the product aligns with the company’s mission and goals
  • Partner with the GM, Engineering Manager, and CTO to establish technical standards, set a clear vision, and create scalable software architecture, all while having ownership over key decisions
  • Break down complex requirements into manageable, incremental deliverables, applying mastery of your craft to deliver high-quality work
  • Prioritize and manage project timelines, ensuring successful completion of deliverables while maintaining a high level of autonomy in day-to-day decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and take initiative to drive leadership in these areas
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our products, users, and the broader impact on mental healthcare, ensuring that your work is aligned with a clear sense of purpose
  • Quickly pivot and adapt solutions based on feedback or new insights, clearly communicating changes to your team and maintaining momentum
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs in complex project delivery, always keeping the larger mission in focus
  • Collaborate with a passionate, close-knit team on special projects, where you’ll experience autonomy, mastery, and purpose in every aspect of your work
