Requirements
- 5+ years in a senior tech leadership role
- Experience leading third-party/distributed teams
- Expertise in backend (PHP, Laravel) development
- Expertise in frontend (React.js, Svelte, TypeScript, Tailwind) development
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Docker
- Experience with PostgreSQL, microservices, and API integration
- Strong understanding of CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance
- Strong leadership, project coordination, and time/resource management skills
- Proven ability to lead tech teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level
- Strong communication and collaboration with technical and business teams
- Ability to multitask effectively and work independently or with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the tech team for smooth operations and timely project delivery
- Drive the platformβs tech strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals and scaling plans
- Oversee new feature development and optimize the platform for growth
- Manage third-party development partners, ensuring quality deliverables and timely execution
- Work with product and commercial teams to prioritize features and enhancements
- Manage the tech budget and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure system stability, security, and performance with best practices in CI/CD and code quality
- Stay hands-on with development, guiding the team through technical challenges
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure best practices for monitoring and incident management
- Be the main point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Startup experience, particularly in fintech or restaurant tech domains
- Familiarity with integrating third-party services (e.g., payment, customer support, analytics, etc.)
