Requirements

  • 5+ years in a senior tech leadership role
  • Experience leading third-party/distributed teams
  • Expertise in backend (PHP, Laravel) development
  • Expertise in frontend (React.js, Svelte, TypeScript, Tailwind) development
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Docker
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, microservices, and API integration
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance
  • Strong leadership, project coordination, and time/resource management skills
  • Proven ability to lead tech teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level
  • Strong communication and collaboration with technical and business teams
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work independently or with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the tech team for smooth operations and timely project delivery
  • Drive the platform’s tech strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals and scaling plans
  • Oversee new feature development and optimize the platform for growth
  • Manage third-party development partners, ensuring quality deliverables and timely execution
  • Work with product and commercial teams to prioritize features and enhancements
  • Manage the tech budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Ensure system stability, security, and performance with best practices in CI/CD and code quality
  • Stay hands-on with development, guiding the team through technical challenges
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure best practices for monitoring and incident management
  • Be the main point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup experience, particularly in fintech or restaurant tech domains
  • Familiarity with integrating third-party services (e.g., payment, customer support, analytics, etc.)
