Senior Software QA Engineer

You will perform both manual and automated testing, collaborate with various teams, and mentor junior QA engineers. Requirements

• 5+ years of technical, hands-on expertise in software quality assurance
• 2+ years of QA automation work experience
• Cloud-delivered, SaaS software quality assurance experience
• Ability to work in any area of testing (UI, load, performance, API, etc.)
• Professional work experience in testing Java web applications
• Working knowledge of SQL and database architectures
• Thorough understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and secure code testing
• Able to operate in a fast-paced, product early-stage environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Math or Engineering

Responsibilities

• Implement the tooling and processes required to support the testing program
• Design tests that meet our product quality certification requirements
• Develop tests to provide feedback on the quality of our products before release
• Champion processes that support team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable execution
• Participate in planning sessions that ensure quality objectives are well-understood so that standards and metrics are established
• Deliver predictable operational support for both internal and external consumers of our technologies
• Assisting in building a highly-capable team based on great talent identification and recruiting
• Help ensure that the engineering team is happy, prolific, and autonomous
• Maximize the productivity of our technologies by assisting in the development of technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity
• Experience testing enterprise applications
• Experience testing cybersecurity or IT systems management applications
• Master’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
