As a key member of our team, you will maintain and enhance automation test frameworks, collect quality metrics, collaborate with developers on testing strategies, and create comprehensive test plans. You will also troubleshoot application issues, onboard new hires, and champion a culture of automation. This role demands strong analytical skills to improve existing processes and represent the scrum team in stakeholder meetings. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in quality assurance, Java programming, and various testing techniques.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • 5+ years of experience with quality assurance and Java programming with Selenium, JUnit and TestNG
  • Fluency with scripting in JavaScript. Experience with Eclipse, Jenkin, Maven, and Git
  • Understanding of testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect
  • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks
  • Experience driving cross-team technical discussions with an understanding of SDLC concepts

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing automation test frameworks
  • Collect and report quality metrics from test execution
  • Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them
  • Create comprehensive test plans; execute and automate them
  • Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments
  • Onboarding of new hires to enable their success in their roles
  • Drive a culture of intolerance to manual activities that promotes automation efforts
  • Analysis and evaluation of existing processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • Ability to represent scrum team in  stakeholder meetings
