Summary

Join ServiceNow's AI Search & Workflows QE team and ensure the quality of AI-powered search and workflow automation features within the Now Platform. This role involves verifying the accuracy and relevance of AI Search results and ensuring AI-driven workflows function correctly. You will maintain automation test frameworks, collect quality metrics, and collaborate with developers to design and automate testing strategies. The position requires creating comprehensive test plans and partnering with engineering to troubleshoot application and environment issues. Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • 5+ years of experience with quality assurance and Java programming with Selenium, JUnit and TestNG
  • 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Hands on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) tools, frameworks, or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, etc
  • Fluency with scripting in JavaScript. Experience with Eclipse, Jenkin, Maven, and Git
  • Knowledge of testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and ability to use them to best effect
  • Ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks
  • Experience driving cross-team technical discussions with a knowledge of SDLC concept

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing automation test frameworks
  • Collect and report quality metrics from test execution
  • Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed and automate them
  • Create comprehensive test plans; execute and automate them
  • Partner with the engineering organizations in troubleshooting or addressing issues with applications and dev/test environments
