Summary

The Sales Engineer will assist in driving pre-sales process, provide technical support to sales reps, design custom product demonstrations, and work closely with various teams. They should be a world-class communicator with excellent sales instincts, have experience selling software solutions into complex environments, and be comfortable writing scripts in at least one programming language.

Requirements

• World class communicator with excellent sales instincts
• Experience selling software solutions into complex environments
• Keen technical mind comfortable writing scripts in at least one programming language
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, work independently and drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and high attention to detail
• 5+ years in Sales/Partner Engineering or Solutions Consulting role

Responsibilities

• Assist sales reps with technically qualifying new sales opportunities
• Provide pre-sales engineering support to account teams and lead solution discovery discussions with clients and partners
• Build and deliver custom product demonstrations which focus on key business drivers and functional requirements for potential customers
• Design custom Deputy solutions based on clients’ business priorities and technical capabilities
• Work closely with Product, Compliance, and Support to ensure customer feedback is channelled appropriately
• Work with Sales and CS functions to build and refine scalable business processes

Preferred Qualifications

Workforce Management experience is a big plus

• The pay range for this position takes into account multiple factors, including market factors, experience, technical and non-technical skills, education, certifications, and other business acumen
• For candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, the pay range is $121,000 to $129,270. For candidates based outside these areas, the pay range is $98,000 to $105,090
