Summary
Join MongoDB's Industry Solutions Team (IST) as a remote/flexible, globally-dispersed team member based out of Mexico City, contributing to the company's mission of empowering innovators. Help generate and deliver content showcasing MongoDB's business value, partner with the IST to ensure account success, and assist consultants/principals in sales enablement. Act as a liaison between the team and Marketing, Sales, and Product, actively participating in MongoDB's Go-To-Market Strategy. Proactively seek opportunities to mentor team members and share best practices. This role offers a path towards a consultant role and beyond, with a career trajectory built collaboratively. Up to 25% travel is required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the tech sector, or relevant technical experience in other sectors
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new industries
- A balance of technical knowledge as well as communication/presentation skills
- A foundational knowledge of data, data science, data analytics, and/or data engineering (you will become more of an expert on the job!)
- A diverse experience or interest in multiple industries (we have a broad range of clients and need to understand their industries to adapt solutions)
- The ability to manage and work with multiple stakeholders effectively
- A pro-active, self-starter with the drive to learn new skills and become an expert in that field
- The ability to travel up to 25% in normal circumstances for conferences, clients, team shadowing, team events, MongoDB events, etc
- A strong sense of team-work working towards a common goal with process-oriented skills
Responsibilities
- Help generate/deliver content, such as white papers, blogs, webinars, thought leadership, speaking events, etc. that communicates the business value of MongoDB as a leading industry solution
- You partner with the rest of the Industry Solutions team to help ensure success in accounts ranging from small startups to large enterprises (i.e customizing solutions, client presentations, client-specific content, etc.)
- Assist in Consultant/Principal support of sales through enablement, with activities such as technical discovery, demos, trainings, proof of values, presentations, and documentation of technical decision criteria; working across a number of sales opportunities in parallel
- You act as a liaison between our team and Marketing, Sales, and Product, playing an active role in MongoDB’s Go-To-Market Strategy
- You proactively seek opportunities to support and mentor other team members and share best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in the tech sector
- Experience with databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers or database vendors
- Experience with database programming and data models
- A MongoDB Certification
- Proficiency in more than one language
