Senior Staff Product Manager, Productivity

Summary

Join Mozilla as a Senior Staff Product Manager, Firefox Productivity, and help reinvent online productivity. You will define and promote a productivity vision for Firefox, balancing efficiency and well-being. Collaborate with design, engineering, and data science teams to create and optimize user experiences. Make data-driven decisions, using both quantitative and qualitative feedback. Effectively communicate product roadmaps and outcomes to various stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on launch strategies and partnerships. This role requires extensive product management experience, a customer-focused approach, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in shipping consumer products, demonstrating a deep understanding of user needs
• Deep compassion for users’ workflows and frustrations; hands-on experience conducting user research, synthesizing insights, and translating them into sophisticated product solutions
• Strong abilities capable of uniting cross-functional teams around a common vision, crafting compelling stories, and interacting with external partners and communities
• You have a strategic & analytical approach. You feel comfortable creating multi-year roadmaps, defining objectives and key results and using data to validate hypotheses and advice trade-offs
• Ability to work independently at high velocity while aligning with the overall strategy
• Passion for open source, user privacy, and building products that respects people’s time, attention, and well-being

Responsibilities

• Define and evangelize a bold, differentiated productivity vision for Firefox, one that balances objective efficiency (task completion, time management) with experiential well-being (flow, engagement, happiness)
• Work together with teams from design, engineering, and data science to craft, launch, and optimize experiences that delight users and uphold our mission
• Define success through a balance of quantitative metrics (engagement lift, retention) and qualitative feedback ensuring we’re moving the needle on both productivity and growth
• Clearly communicate product roadmaps, feature benefits, and performance outcomes to collaborators, leaders, and external partners
• Collaborate with marketing and BD teams to craft compelling launch strategies, forge ecosystem partnerships, and amplify our message: productivity with purpose
• Leverage data-driven insights and user behavioral patterns to anticipate needs, minimize context-switching, and surface the right tools at the right moments crafting proactive browser features that feel like trusted companions
