Senior Staff Software Engineer

Voltron Data
Summary
Join Voltron Data, a company building the future of composable data systems, as a Senior Staff Software Engineer. You will design, build, and optimize core components of their Arrow-native query engine, drive architectural decisions, collaborate with engineers to accelerate workloads, and own end-to-end feature delivery. Leadership in RFCs and technical strategy within the open-source ecosystem is expected, along with mentoring other engineers. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in systems programming and experience with relevant ecosystems like Arrow and Substrait. Voltron Data offers a remote work environment with benefits including unlimited PTO, medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits (USA only), a home office budget, and a continuing education budget.
