Senior Systems Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Systems Engineer to work on System Operations, supporting and scaling HubSpot's employee servicing servers and 3rd party application infrastructure. As a Systems Engineer, you will assist in design, installation, maintenance, and operational activities of the company’s internal infrastructure utilizing various operating systems, AWS services, and other technologies.

Requirements

• Have built complex systems from start to finish
• Python programming skills for scripting/automation/programming projects
• Cloud computing administration experience (AWS/GCP)
• Have strong fundamental knowledge of security best practices

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead on select project implementations
• Learn new technologies and share your knowledge with teammates
• Communicate regularly with other project stakeholders regarding project activities including planning, progress, issues and problem resolution
• Develop tools to solve operational problems (e.g. pulling data from a 3rd party API, expanding our AWX/Ansible/Inventory automation infrastructure capabilities)
