Senior Systems Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Systems Engineer at Believer's company, where you will collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to implement core game systems in Unreal Engine 5. You will report directly into the VP of Game Engineering and be responsible for designing and developing core game systems, creating efficient production workflows, evaluating technical issues, pushing boundaries of open-world development, and working on live service-based games across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience working on C++ game development
• Experience with Unreal and modern game engines, digital content creation tool, and their development pipelines
• Experience working on live service-based game and/or cross platform game development and deployment

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core game systems and features in Unreal Engine 5, enhancing performance and quality for players
• Collaborate with the team to create efficient production workflows and development tools, elevating content iteration and quality to unprecedented levels
• Evaluate and troubleshoot technical issues with build stability and runtime operation, providing a smooth experience on all devices
• Push the boundaries of open-world development and digital distribution across multiple platforms (PC, Mobile, Console)

• Annual salary range: $157,000-$231,000
