Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in production Windows and Linux environments
  • Expertise in Active Directory, IAM processes, and SSO tools such as OKTA
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms
  • Experience with Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Trend Micro, Tenable, and Wiz
  • Familiarity with compliance standards like SOX, HIPAA, or PCI
  • Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or similar languages
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices of IT Service Management
  • Availability for occasional off-hours support and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and deployment of SaaS and on-premises infrastructure
  • Administer and implement IaaS, SaaS platforms, and security tools including Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Trend Micro, Tenable, and Wiz
  • Support and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
  • Oversee Windows and Mac Desktop Engineering
  • Provide support for existing SaaS products as the user base expands
  • Deliver advanced systems support to Service Desk teams, including problem resolution and mentoring
  • Foster the growth and development of junior IT staff by providing guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
  • Conduct technical investigations to identify and resolve system issues
  • Monitor and manage system usage to align with growth requirements
  • Collaborate with Compliance/Security teams to prevent and address suspicious activity
  • Participate in a rotational on-call support schedule for corporate infrastructure
