Summary
Join Fastly as a Senior Tax Analyst and contribute to the global tax provision and compliance efforts. You will prepare quarterly and annual global tax provision workpapers, coordinate non-U.S. tax return preparation, and handle tax accruals and reconciliations. Process improvements and documentation are key responsibilities, along with monitoring tax legislation and assisting with U.S. tax work as time allows. This role requires 5+ years of global tax experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with global tax provision and non-U.S. direct and indirect tax compliance
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving ability
- Highly motivated, hard-working, and able to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual global tax provision workpapers and supporting documentation
- Coordinate the preparation of non-U.S. income tax and VAT/GST returns with the outsourced service providers
- Prepare direct and indirect tax accruals, payments, and account reconciliations
- Identify and implement tax process improvements
- Prepare documentation for tax processes and internal controls
- Monitor and analyze tax legislation and communicate the impact to the company
- Prepare U.S. federal and state income/franchise tax workpapers and calculations as time permits
- Assist with other tax projects, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- Experience working with global taxes in a technology company is preferred
