Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressing software development experience
  • Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications using Java (SE, Spring), Node.js, React, and microservices
  • Proven track record of building scalable systems and functionality
  • In-depth understanding of object-oriented design, clean coding style
  • Hands-on development experience with current open-source tools and technologies (Java, Spring, MySQL, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, AspectJ, Messaging, Solr, and Lucene, node.js)
  • Experience with building rich and interactive user interfaces utilizing JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Motivation and flexibility to roll up your sleeves and work hard (and have fun) in a fast-moving environment
  • We are looking for strong mentors with a proven record of making your team better

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Architects, and Development team members on technical design and problem-solving to come up with compelling solutions to problems
  • Own all aspects of implementation for features from design to development, deployment to production, and support and maintenance
  • Quickly break down complex problems into potential solutions, accounting for knowns and unknowns, in order to get to solid resolutions faster
  • Passion to mentor and guide engineers at all levels
  • Define, evangelize, and mentor on best practices and coding standards
  • Extensive experience reviewing code engineers of all levels
  • Code, our architects will actively be contributing to the build by working on the application code

Preferred Qualifications

Masters in Software Engineering/Computer Science
