You will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and developing our backup infrastructure and virtualization environments. This role involves designing IT landscapes and processes, contributing to projects like data center migration and cloud computing, and providing 2nd and 3rd level support. The ideal candidate possesses experience with various backup solutions (DELL/EMC Power Protect, Networker, Data-Domain, Elastic Cloud Storage, Veeam) and a strong understanding of hybrid-cloud scenarios. Requirements

• Have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in (business) informatics
• Have professional experience as a system engineer and knowledge in the following topics: DELL/EMC Power Protect, DELL/EMC-Networker, DELL/EMC Data-Domain, DELL/EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, Backup-to-tape, Veeam or similar Backup Solutions in Hybrid-Cloud Scenarios
• Have a solution/process-oriented and analytical mindset, and strong methodological skills
• Possess distinct customer orientation and the ability to work in a team as well as a convincing appearance
• Speak fluent German (B2) and good English (B1)

Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize and develop our Backup-Infrastructure and virtualization environments
• Be involved in the further development of our highly available Backup-Infrastructure landscape and design IT landscapes and IT processes
• Be involved in the following project topics: Data center migration, virtualization, automation and cloud computing
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support in infrastructure for our existing customers and advise their departments on technical problems
