Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or product management in a data platform or enterprise software company
- Hands-on experience with data governance, data security, and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog or other governance systems (e.g., OneLake Catalog, Apache Polaris, AWS Lake Formation, Google Dataplex, Microsoft Purview, Alation or Collibra)
- Understanding of data sharing protocols and privacy-preserving collaboration patterns
- Strong writing and communication skills, especially for technical audiences
- Comfortable reading and writing code (Python, SQL preferred) to create demos and prototypes
- Ability to work independently across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain demo environments and example solutions for Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Cleanrooms and Marketplace
- Create technical artifacts, such as reference architectures, how-to guides, implementation playbooks, and tutorials, that clearly explain governance and data sharing workflows
- Develop technical content (e.g. blogs, videos, walkthroughs) to support customer education and adoption
- Work with product and engineering teams to test new features, provide feedback, and translate capabilities into practical usage patterns
- Partner with field engineering and product marketing to build enablement and launch materials
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently in customer meetings, analyst briefings, and public speaking engagements such as webinars and conferences
- Act as a subject matter expert for field teams and customer-facing engagements focused on governance, compliance, and data sharing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Delta Sharing, clean rooms, or secure collaboration across organizations
- Experience with compliance and audit requirements in regulated industries
- Certifications in Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Prior field-facing or customer-enabling experience
