Summary

Join Ava Labs' growing team as a Senior Recruiter on a contract-to-hire basis. You will lead end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and non-technical positions, collaborating with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and manage candidate pipelines. Utilize various sourcing methods to attract top talent, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates. Drive the offer process, negotiate compensation packages, and close candidates. Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights on market trends. Participate in employer branding initiatives and maintain accurate records in the ATS. Provide an outstanding candidate experience and facilitate a seamless candidate process. This role requires a strong blend of technical and non-technical recruiting expertise, with experience in both in-house and agency environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring top level talent for a variety of technical roles
  • 3+ years of experience, can be in combination to technical, successfully recruiting for non-technical roles such as product management, marketing, finance, and legal
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, engaging, and hiring passive candidates through creative sourcing strategies
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close candidates at various stages of the recruitment process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, team members, and candidates
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where priorities may shift quickly

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and non-technical positions
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and manage candidate pipelines effectively
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to attract, engage, and hire top talent, including direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and online channels
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to ensure cultural fit and competency towards role
  • Drive the offer process, negotiate compensation packages, and close candidates effectively
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and stakeholders, providing insights and guidance on market trends, candidate availability, and recruitment best practices
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives, recruitment events, and other recruiting projects/programs to enhance the company’s reputation as an employer of choice
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), preferably Greenhouse, ensuring data integrity and compliance with hiring practices and policies
  • Provide outstanding candidate experience and facilitate a seamless candidate process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working both in-house at a Web3 (ideally) or technology company and recruitment agency experience is preferred
  • Experience using Greenhouse and Gem (or similar ATS and sourcing tools) is highly preferred
  • Experience in Web3 strongly preferred
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to pitch in and support the team in whatever capacity is needed
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical recruiting practices

Benefits

Monthly Rate (Range): $9,754 to $12,193
