Summary

Join Intetics Inc., a global technology company, as a Senior Test Automation Engineer. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for front-end and API testing using Playwright and Postman. Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years in automation testing, ideally within a supply chain environment
  • Proven experience in implementing shift-left principles, focusing on early defect prevention and close collaboration with development teams
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript scripting, and API testing
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive quality initiatives across the organization

Responsibilities

  • Experienced with the Shift Left testing methodology, integrating testing activities early in the development lifecycle to identify and fix defects sooner, ensuring a faster feedback loop and fewer surprises at the end. This includes working closely with developers and encouraging them to participate in building tests
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for front-end applications using Playwright, transforming them into end-to-end regression test suites
  • Automate API testing using Playwright or Postman, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for public and internal APIs
  • Develop and maintain manual test plans for scenarios that cannot be automated
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, working closely with DevOps to ensure seamless deployment and release processes
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using relevant tools, working with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the entire team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reinforcing the mindset that quality is a shared responsibility across the team
  • Clearly communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. Build automated reports and dashboards to track testing metrics
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and tools in test automation, proposing innovative solutions to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Transport Management Systems and financial systems
