Test Engineer (Automation)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG/JUnit
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Experience with Katalon Studio for test automation
• Good understanding of REST API testing and integration with automation frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, or similar)
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and Katalon Studio
• Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) using tools like Cucumber
• Design and execute automated test scripts to validate web applications, APIs, and backend services
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with the development team for resolution
• Optimize test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reliability
• Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices
