Summary

Abacus Works is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on Hyperlane, a pioneering permissionless interoperability layer between blockchains. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining Typescript smart contracts, improving SDKs, enhancing user interaction, and ensuring operational excellence. Requirements include 3+ years of Typescript/Javascript experience, 2+ years with Ethereum or similar platforms, strong communication skills, ability to operate independently, a strong sense of initiative, and being a crypto native. Bonus: experience in developer products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Typescript side of our smart contract framework, ensuring robustness and reliability
• Deploy and continually improve our SDKs for both internal and external use, streamlining the integration process for developers
• Enhance user interaction with Hyperlane's smart contracts via end-user products, such as the Warp Template UI and the Hyperlane Explorer
• Work closely with the engineering team to improve the Developer Experience (DevEx) of deploying and interacting with Hyperlane smart contracts, aiming for simplicity and ease of use
• Operate primarily as an Individual Contributor focusing on the development and deployment of our Software Development Kits (SDKs) to enhance accessibility for developers
• Ensure the smooth functioning of our smart contracts, maintaining operational excellence across all projects

Salary range for this role is $130K to $250K USD (NY). Compensation subject to experience and location
