Senior UI/UX Designer

Requirements

• Possess 5+ years of related work experience and professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
• Hold a related Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent work experience
• Have PERMANENT US work authorization
• Experience with UX
• Familiarity with GIT source control, VS code, React, NODEJS, express, design tools (AdobeXD, Figma UI Design experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead Front End UI React Development
• UI design and Development
• Graphic design
• Utilize GIT source control, VS code, React, NODEJS, express, and design tools (AdobeXD, Figma)
• Conduct unit testing
• Follow release procedures
• Adhere to coding design and documentation protocols
• Manage change management procedures
• Utilize MERN and MEAN Scaffolding tools
• Demonstrate organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Work flexibly as a team player
• Manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
• Communicate technical information clearly and articulately

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• Program proficiently in more than one object-oriented programming language; React.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Show proficiency with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, local storage, and cross-browser compatibility
• Potentially utilize database knowledge in MongoBD
• Utilize modern web/UI development tools and techniques: Node, Webpack, Grunt/Gulp, GIT, Axios, Jest
• Utilize client-side templating: mustache.js, handlebars.js, panni.js, and dust.js
• Utilize standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• Utilize debugging tools such as; Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etc
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation
• Demonstrate solid knowledge with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
• Utilize high critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Work with responsive grid systems
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of React and Redux principals and build out

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NextJS, VITE
• Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc
• Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
• Experience with mobile design (native and mobile web)
• Experience with Foundation
• Experience with web accessibility guidelines and requirements
